Spray drying

Drying equipment:
RELCO wet & dry offers two types of continuous thermal convection dryers:
• Spray drying chambers
• Fluidised bed dryers

Spray Dryer
RELCO wet & dry designs, constructs and installs tailor-made new spray dryers with disc and/or nozzle-atomising.

In line with the product characteristics and requirements, the drying process can be equipped with single, two or three stage drying (in integrated fluidbed).

Used and revised spray dryers are also available, which can be completely re-engineered to meet the requirements.

Fluidbed Dryer
RELCO wet & dry developed a new fluidbed design, meeting the latest demands.

This fluidbed does not need a heavy foundation because of its minor vibration as the result of a new bottom plate.

Furthermore, the fluidbed is designed in a way that is highly sanitary. Used and rebuilt fluidbeds are also available.

Special Features
Depending on the type of application, the dryers are equipped with agglomeration, mixing, instantising and cooling facilities.

Specific provisions with regard to safety and fire / explosion prevention / suppression are also part of the design / engineering options.
