Fluidbed
RELCO wet & dry has developed a fluidbed meeting the latest demands in the application field.
Its design emphasizes on functionality and highly sanitary construction.

Internal Fluidbed
This fluidbed makes up an integrated part of the chamber cone, where the semi-dry powder particles are collected.
Here, secondary drying takes place in a fluidised layer of powder on fresh drying air. The perforated plate in this bed consists of sections with direction determined holes, with which a slight rotation of the powder layer is achieved. This does result in a more effective mixture and transportation of the powder.

The internal fluidbed consists of:
           Clean air chamber for the distribution of dry air under the screen plate

 

 

           Screen plate from 1m2 up to 7m2 in finely perforated stainless steel
           Inspection glasses with lighting in the fluidbed
           Inspection openings
           CIP nozzles in the upper and lower part
           Platform around the chamber fluidbed, made completely of stainless steel, with checker plate cover, including foot rim, railing and stairs.

External fluidbed with mix-section
The fluidbed with its special mix-section is installed at the outlet of the drying chamber for final conditioning of the powder. The fluidbed-perforated plate consists of sections with direction-determined holes, yielding a controlled movement in the powder layer. This to achieve an effective rotation in the mix-zone and plug-flow in the conditioning/cooling zone.

The external fluidbed consists of:
           Clean air chamber for the distribution of dry air under the screen plate
           Screen plate from 2m
2 up to 28m2 in finely perforated stainless steel

 

 

           Inspection glasses with lighting in the fluidbed
           Inspection openings
           CIP nozzles in the upper and lower part
           Flexible connections
           Vibration motor underneath the fluidbed that gives a horizontal vibration to the fluidbed
           Spiral spring support on base frame with legs

With its new bottom plate, vibration of the bed has now been reduced and consequently, the heavy foundation for the vibrating bed is no longer needed.

Platform to enter Fluidbed
The platform is completely made of stainless steel with chequer plate cover, inlcuding foot bordering and railing, discharges with drain, as well as stairs.
